Tap the camera button and point it at what you're curious about — or upload a photo if you can't point your camera right now. Your guide will recognize it and tell you its story.
From the Explore or Map tab, choose "Plan a Tour," pick your starting point (your current location or anywhere else in the world), your pace, transport mode, and trip length — your guide designs a route for you.
Go to Profile → Voice, tap ▶ next to any voice to preview it, then select the one you like.
Go to Profile → Interests and select the topics you love (history, food, art, nature, and more), or use the "Chat about it instead" option to tell your guide in your own words.
o to Profile → Manage Plan, and you'll find the option to cancel or manage your subscription there. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Go to Profile → Privacy → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, saved tours, itineraries, and personal data.
Check your device's Settings app → The AI Tour Guide → make sure Location and Camera permissions are turned on. We only ever use these to identify what's around you — never for anything else.
Contact us below with a description of what happened and, if possible, a screenshot. This helps us fix it quickly.
Yes — The AI Tour Guide supports multiple languages. You can change this in your device or app settings.
Absolutely! A lot of The AI Tour Guide works great without leaving the house:
The one thing that does need you to be physically there: pointing your camera live at something in front of you, since that's how we identify what you're actually looking at in the moment.
Distances shown are measured "as the crow flies" (straight-line distance between points) — they don't account for actual road/path routing, elevation changes, or terrain difficulty. A walk that looks short on the map may take longer or feel more strenuous if it involves hills, stairs, or a winding route. Always use your own judgement (and a dedicated navigation app) for precise walking directions, especially for longer hikes or trails.
Your guide's stories, historical details, and facts are generated by AI. We work to minimize inaccuracies by cross-checking information against multiple sources (like Wikipedia and mapping data) before presenting it, but AI can still occasionally get details wrong or "hallucinate" information that sounds plausible but isn't accurate. Treat narrated content as an engaging starting point for curiosity, not an authoritative historical or academic source.
Some smaller towns, rural areas, or lesser-known landmarks may have limited or missing data in the sources we use, which means occasionally a place you know well might not appear, or a well-known local trail or landmark might not be individually highlighted.
Visitor information (hours, prices, contact details) is pulled from third-party sources and may not always be current. Please double-check directly with the venue before visiting, especially for time-sensitive plans.
